曾幾何時，在評分匯總網站 Metacritic 上，由 光與影：33 號遠征隊(Clair Obscur: Expedition 33) 一直穩坐 2025 年最佳評價遊戲的寶座。然而，隨著 Switch 2 主機的同步發售，為 薩爾達傳說 曠野之息(The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) 與 薩爾達傳說 王國之淚(Tears of the Kingdom) 推出的 Switch 2 升級版，成功將它拉下神壇。
根據外媒報導，目前榜首易主為 薩爾達傳說 王國之淚，Metacritic 綜合評價來到 95 分。而 薩爾達傳說 曠野之息(Breath of the Wild) 則以 93 分追平了 光與影：33 號遠征隊(Expedition 33) 的綜合分數。值得注意的是，光與影：33 號遠征隊 的高分是建立在超過 80 位評論家意見的基礎上，而兩款 薩爾達(Zelda) 升級版目前分別只有 11 位和 9 位評論家參與評分。
這次的 薩爾達 升級包帶來了更高的解析度、更穩定的幀率以及 HDR 支援。此外，還新增了 薩爾達筆記(Zelda Notes) 功能，可以實現物品共享，並追蹤 Korok Seeds 和 Shrine 的位置。
除了上述作品，其他獲得 Switch 2 升級的遊戲還包括 No Man’s Sky、密特羅德 究極 4：穿越未知(Metroid Prime 4: Beyond) 和 寶可夢傳說 Z-A(Pokemon Legends: Z-A)。
